Senjogahara

The name Senjogahara is said to come from the myth that this area was a "battlefield" where the gods of Mt. Nantai and Mt. Akagi fought over Lake Chuzenji. This work is a unique expression that combines pointillism with the technique of "scampling," in which after the paint has dried slightly, another layer of paint is applied on top, leaving a small gap so that the paint underneath is visible.
