ODA Hiroki
Lake and Loire in Early Spring

He primed the canvas with neutral colors, mixed them with the underlying paint, mainly white, and in some part placed bright paint and black without mixing, to great effect.
Perhaps Oda interpreted and developed Dufy's technique in his own way.
The synergy of the melancholy female figure, a few flowers, and the still-cold lakeside creates a fantastic early spring scene in this impressive work.
