Mori Ippō

Wang Xizhi, known as the Master of Calligraphy, held a "Banquet of Curved Water" at the Lanting Pavilion on March 3, 1282.Wang Xizhi wrote in his "Lanting Preface":"This event of drinking and composing poetry was wonderful enough to allow us to share our innermost thoughts. We gazed upon the vastness of the universe and thought about the wonder of all life on earth. It was truly a joyful experience."The detailed depictions of the flowers, plants, people's gestures and expressions, and the effective use of perspective in this work are truly impressive.
