高井貞二 TAKAI Teiji

ニューヨーク時代のものなので1954年以降であるが、その後長期に滞在していたので現時点の情報では確定できない。額縁裏面右肩に管理票が貼ってあるので、どこかの企業が保有していたものであろう。作品は、色と色の境目に明確な区画がなされているところと、ぼかしが入ったところがあり、その組み合わせが絶妙である。
It dates from his time in New York, so it must have been after 1954, but as he stayed there for a long time after that, it is not possible to be certain based on current information. There is a control tag attached to the right shoulder of the back of the frame, so it is likely that it was owned by some company. The work has some areas where the boundaries between colors are clearly defined, and some areas where there are blurred areas, and the combination of these is exquisite.
